It’s time for A People’s History of Twitter

About Us

Better Platform is a group of (ex-)Twitter workers, users, and allies who came together around a belief that platforms we depend on should serve the public interest. We started in 2016 with a campaign to #BuyTwitter and turn it into a public utility, and we’re a fiscally-sponsored project of Open Collective Foundation. Together with you, we’re creating A People’s History of Twitter and organizing a people’s assembly about the future of news and content creation on Twitter and beyond.
